Can having more than one layer of graphene affect the properties of graphene?
Graphene, by definition, is a single layer of carbon atoms connected by covalence in a predominantly hexagonal pattern. Multiple layers of Graphene are graphite. The exceptional strength and conductivity of Graphene due in part to the relatively large surface area by weight. So when there are two or more layers the exceptional characteristics are significantly diminished by each additional layer.
